Family Friendly Entertainment
Although (like a certain "Mr. Henson") Prof. Mark tends to shy away from terms like "children's entertainment," many of his character illustrations, comics, Tshirts and such can easily be categorized as "Family Friendly Entertainment."
The key reason for this technicality is that when it premiered in 1978, The Muppet Show (one of Prof. Mark's all-time favorite programs) was viewed weekly by over 235 million people, across more than 102 countries... And nearly half of those weekly viewers were adults!

When Prof. Mark lived in Montgomery, his daily walk took him by a building called Apologetics Press. "Hm, they're obviously some kind of publisher," he mused, "so eventually they'll need an illustrator!"
Sure enough, he called and set up an appointment to share his portfolio with an editor, who commented, "Say, you've got a lot of dinosaur illustrations in here. Our Discovery Magazine has a dinosaur issue coming up!"
Prof. Mark also re-designed their mascot, Digger Doug for a monthly comic strip, and then animated the opening titles for their show, Digger Doug's Underground. He also designed the puppets and full-body mascot costumes used during the live-action sequences!
